Nicholas is a sustainable investment analyst supporting Newton’s responsible investment approach and research efforts. This includes advisory work across a range of sustainable investment solutions and the provision of expert assessments and reporting to the wider investment team. Prior to joining Newton in June 2023, Nicholas held various roles with KPMG and EY across their respective financial service practices where he specialised in insurance and asset management engagements.

Nicholas holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Exeter, a Masters in Climate Change & Finance from Imperial College London and is an ICAS qualified Chartered Accountant.
Outside of work, Nicholas enjoys taking part in triathlon and marathon competitions. He is also passionate about education and a strong advocate for equal opportunities for young people. Volunteering as a school governor for the past five years, he is currently chair of a governing board for a local primary school and is currently one of the UK’s youngest chair of governors.
